Others - Ustinov

Rarely, a play will render you speechless. The Paper Birds achieve just this, with their performance; Others.
This is theatre.
★★★★★

Claymoore - Bath Spa Live

A rough blend of theatre and film, a few limp actors and a rough atmoshphere. Satisfactory.

Under Milk Wood: Live on Air - Ustinov

This ‘Groundhog Day’ like performance delivered the same gag for a laborious two hours. At parts it was humorous but generally tedious. However it seemed to be successful with its intended older audience. Under Average.
★★

Masquerade - Bath Spa Live

Masquerade pulls you into its dream world in all its ecstasy, shocks you with its visuals, bombards you with its sounds and completes you with its eccentricity. Not bad for a dance piece.

The Nutcracker - Theatre Royal Bath

Do not be fooled by the family friendly bravado; this play will make the tough cringe, the rational believe and of course the children scream. This gruesomely captivating play is surely one of the best performances of The Nutcracker to date.

Game Play - Bath Spa Live

Reading off scripts normally looks sloppy but somehow this play pulls off the prestige. Overall enjoyable.
★★★

King Lear - Bath Spa Live

A slow start, lots of interesting staging techniques and an absolutely fantastic finish... I like the unique approach!
